H.264 is very processor intensive and if you&#039;re primarily making use of these streams within your LAN you&#039;ve no need for the high compression ratios it can achieve. Try using MPEG4 at around 3MB/s or MPEG2 at around 4MB/s and you should be able to get a steady 25fps at 720x576.Oh, and multicast doesn&#039;t generally work over a VPN connection. It&#039;s complicated, trust me ;)</description>
